Riva Gebel

Riva Gebel joined PacifiCare Health Systems in January 1993 as employee volunteer program coordinator. She developed an employee giving campaign for the newly established PacifiCare Foundation. In 1996, Gebel was appointed director of the PacifiCare Foundation.

Gebel directs the operation and administration of the Foundation enterprisewide. The Foundation is devoted to charitable causes that enhance the health, wellness and welfare of children, individuals, families, seniors and the community.

In addition, Gebel oversees the volunteer program, the community relations involvement program, and the annual employee giving campaign.

Gebel serves on the boards of directors for: The Painted Turtle ñ A Hole In The Wall Gang Camp; Urban Entertainment Institute; American Heart AssociationñWestern States Affiliate; Orange County Community Relations Council; and the PacifiCare Foundation.
